Somos James y Miranda, una pareja franco-mexicana que lidera la construcción de una casa de playa de ensueño para cinco amigos cercanos. Nuestra visión es crear un lugar especial donde todos podamos reunirnos, compartir momentos especiales y vivir en armonía junto al mar. A solo 100 metros de la hermosa playa de San Agustinillo, Oaxaca, el proyecto está rodeado de naturaleza en un tranquilo pueblo entre Mazunte y Zipolite.
Nos encantaría compartir este viaje y dar la bienvenida a personas que valoran la naturaleza, la buena energía y el auténtico intercambio cultural.
Buscamos una persona amable y trabajadora que nos apoye en la construcción. A cambio, ofrecemos alojamiento y la oportunidad única de explorar las impresionantes playas de Oaxaca. Los fines de semana, también puedes visitar zonas arqueológicas cercanas, practicar ciclismo de montaña, buceo y mucho más.

I have had an amazing time at the guest house with James and Miranda. I have learnt a lot about conatruction and been trusted to complete many tasks. James is very organised and thoughtful when it comes to arranging activies and work between us volunteers. The area is beautiful and there even bikes to borrow in order to explore the area. Lots of reccomendations give and lots of foos generoualy provided. I highly recommend staying here! :)

We had a wonderful stay with James and Miranda. The work camp experience was very rewarding and life in the community was really enjoyable, in a simply magnificent setting. It was a real pleasure to meet them and we can't wait to see how the work progresses. I'd recommend it without a moment's hésitation ! Thank you again for your hospitality :)

Really enjoyed my stay. Was planning on staying Two weeks and stayed two and a half months. It's a great place in a hippieish town. If you want, you can experience many different activities or you just enjoy the paradisiacal view from the hammock:)) Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time at Miranda's and James' place. During our stay we got a chance to try out different volunteering tasks from construction to cooking and planting. They made sure we feel very welcome and are not missing anything. Their place is right next to the beach, where they play volleyball almost every night and it is a walking distance from the center of San Agustinillo. There are also bigger towns - Mazunte and Zipolite - close by, both of which have very hippie and surfing vibes. I would definitely recommend it if you want to slow down a little bit and enjoy local life ☺️

Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words. It was an absolute pleasure having Sabina, Julia, and Maria stay with us for a week.
We shared some amazing beach volleyball games, and they were all incredibly helpful both on the construction site and around the house, assisting with painting, cooking and gardening.
It was especially great to see them helping build the rebar reinforcement structures for the house columns — such a valuable contribution to the project.

Miranda and James were very welcoming, they prepared the van for the three for the comfortable stay and provided everything what was needed. They created a family atmosphere from very moment and were doing their best to meet our needs. The location of their house is just perfect with the beautiful ocean view and very close to magical Mazunte. Highly recommended if you wanna slow down and immerse into the community life :)

It was great having Julia, Sabina and Maria with us during a week in San agustinillo.
From the very beginning Julia brought a wonderful attitude and positive energy She was always willing to help and contributed to several tasks around the project, from supporting the work on the construction site to helping us around the house.
We especially appreciated how proactive she was and formed a great team with other volunteers, always ready to jump in wherever help was needed.What a fantastic team
