Dresti House
We need volunteers who want to come to our elementary school to teach English to our students and live a real volunteer experience. We offer our best smile and kindness to make it a memorable and enriching experience that you will always remember all your life. You don't need a high level of English because we need to practice a basic level. You can also play volleyball at break and share activities with teachers and children. In the afternoons you have free time to go out by bike, run or walk through the beautiful rural environment of rice fields. You can also go to the beach by bike. You will have wyfi at home and at school. My family is very welcoming and you will be one more in our house. We will cook delicious food for you every day. On weekends you can explore the island or maybe rent a motorcycle, it is a wonderful adventure to get to the waterfalls of the rivers in the forests of the north of the island.
I am the principal of a rural school and my fellow teachers are good people and very friendly, we are all looking forward to meeting you and we will give you our best kindness. Life here is simple and sincere. Our facilities are humble but we try to offer the best education to our students.

A beautiful opportunity to get to know more of the local culture and see a part of Bali that you are not gonna find in the cities. Wayan and his wife received me with care and kindness. The food was great and I was lucky to be able to join two cerimonies in their family Temple. The kids are lovely, playful and kind. Would definetly recommend this experience. Ps: would recommend learning at least a little of Indonesian before arriving at the school; the kids speak very very basic english and it's hard to communicate most of the times. I'm really happy and grateful with what I lived here.

Non sono stata moltissimo con la scuola e la famiglia ma devo dire che anche se poco tempo, mi sono trovata benissimo. Sono delle persone fantastiche, si sono sempre assicurati che stessi bene e mi stentissi a mio agio. Vivere insieme a loro, conoscere la cultura, tradizioni e provare il loro cibo locale, mi ha permesso di vivere questo viaggio non da turista ma da local.. I bambini a scuola sono stupendi, pieni di energia e sempre con il sorriso in volto, ti accolgono in modo caloroso ed è una cosa bellissima.

I spent three weeks with the school and her family, and it was the most beautiful experience of my life. the school is an amazing person. She taught me so much and made me feel at home from the very beginning. The children at the school are all so sweet, and the teachers welcomed me warmly from day one. To me, this is home. Here, I found my second family🙏🏻

Je suis restée 2 semaines chez the school et sa famille. Comment vous dire que ça été la meilleure expérience de toute ma vie. Sa famille et lui sont d'une gentillesse et d'une bienveillance extraordinaire. the school m'a fait découvrir toute la culture balinaise dans les moindres détails . Les enfants à l'école ont une soif d'apprendre incroyable. Cette expérience va vous transformer je ne peux que la recommander. Je n'ai pas assez de place pour écrire à quel point cette expérience m'a changé profondément. Je te remercie pour tout the school et à très vite. 💖💖

I can honestly say this homestay with the school and his family has been a transformative experience. Everyone was lovely and welcoming. The food was delicious, the room was comfortable and clean, I always felt safe. There is good communication and the children are super sweet. If you want to experience local Balinese culture and authentic style of living this is an unbeatable experience. As a solo woman it was very important to me that everyone was so welcoming and kind. I couldn't recommend this experience more! Please consider this homestay, the children are so grateful and need the help!
