El Diablo Hostel
We are small, cool and friendly home style hostel. If you choose to spend some time with us, we will make sure that you get the most of your stay.
A bit of work and loads of fun!
We are friends who opened a hostel in 2013. And we also work here :-)
We love to travel and share experiences and stories with other people , love to cook (well one of us do) and we are easy going, friendly people.
We have hosted many volunteers and we are very proud that all of those amazing young women and men left El Diablo Hostel and Belgrade as our dear friends and family!

Honorable Dragan and esteemed Nikola from the hostel in Belgrade were an absolute treat to be around. I could not recommend this experience enough, it has forever made me a better person Be prepared for engaging and entertaining conversations, if you're a big yapper this place is for you. Shoutout to the other volunteers also, they made the stay so enjoyable, I can't wait for my next visit to Belgrade! The three biggest rules which you must live by are - Respect the House. Love the cats. Do not disturb the Violent Entity.

I had an amazing time staying at the hostel. Thanks to Dragan and Nikola it felt like home from the very beginning and I honestly couldn't have asked for more. The hostel's cozy atmosphere surely made everything feel even more homey. Overall, the tasks given to you are totally manageable, also having a weekly schedule helps a lot if you want to plan any trips in advance. I would totally recommend this place to anybody, I personally cannot wait to be back :)) Thank you guys for everything, see you soon <3

No me gustó el trato hacia los voluntarios. Te hacen trabajar incluso en tus días libres para hacer limpieza del lugar. Además, fuera de tu horario de trabajo, te piden dedicar una hora diaria a doblar y colgar sábanas y toallas. Yo hice bien mi trabajo y, aun así, se negaron a dejarme un comentario/recomendación aunque se los pedí amablemente. No lo recomiendo. did not like the way volunteers are treated. They make you work on your days off to clean the place. In addition, outside of your working hours, they ask you to spend one hour every day folding and hanging sheets and towels. I did my

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel! Both Nikola and Dragan, as well as the other volunteers, were great :)) Expectations for work/shifts were clear too. Thank you for everything!!

As my first volunteer experience, I didn't know what to expect, and I was truly surprised by the good atmosphere at the hostel and the kindness and communication between the hosts and volunteers. Working hours are respected, as are free time and tasks to be completed. The space within the hostel is comfortable, and you can appreciate the work in every detail, from the super clean and tidy rooms to the kitchen and bathroom, which never lack anything. I had a wonderful time here, meeting new people and exploring Belgrade. 100% recommended!
