Ich habe meine frühere Karriere als Theaterdirektorin und Schauspielerin aufgegeben, um mich dem Schreiben und dem Château zu widmen. Wir wohnen hier mit meinem Sohn, meinem Freund und Mitbewohner Mehdi und weiteren Personen: Künstlerinnen und Künstler in Residenz, Reisende und Freunde.
Wir legen Wert auf sinnliche menschliche und kreative Begegnungen und wissen einfache, unbeschwerte Bindungen zu knüpfen, eine ideale Grundlage für tiefe und ermächtigende Verbindungen. Wir achten auf gute Kommunikation und gegenseitigen Respekt.

My time at the guest house was short, but sweet. Katharina, Mehdi and Maya are extremely lovely people who welcomed me with open arms and helped feel at home instantly:) The tasks are not hard, I had a lot of free time to relax and enjoy my time there. The hosts are very considerate and helpful, so it was easy to communicate. Overall, the château is surrounded by nature, so as a nature lover, it was immensely refreshing to be there!

What an experience! This place is full of magical people who made me feel like home. Work hours are so well respected and the sorroundings are astonishing, so I got to visit the villages several times in my free days. Furthermore, Mehdi's meals were mouth-watering and I had no problem at all being vegan! :) Thank you Kat, Maya and Mehdi for letting me spend this amazing month with you guys, it was an absolute pleasure!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Chateau! Katharina and Mehdi welcomed me with open arms and made me feel included my entire stay. The work is mostly different each day so you won't get bored. And even though sometimes it is a bit hard, Mehdis food is reward enough:)

Katharina and Mehdi made the Château feel like home. During most of my stay I was the only volunteer there and they invited me for everything they did. I felt super appreciated and welcomed. The tasks were a bit different than the ones initially proposed, but nothing you wouldn't be able to learn and execute from a simple explanation. I would 10/10 recommend this experience to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the local culture. More than that, to anyone who's willing to find home far from home - because that's what this experience felt like ❤️
