All students and staff are considered as a family, so we not only want them to learn English but also supported by us. Our volunteers will feel welcome and above all, feel the warmth of the Ecuadorean culture.

I got welcomed by Vero and had lunch with the other volunteer. In the afternoon I met the other teachers, some students and could experience how they teach. After that I had the students alone. There is structure with mentioning the topic the students are on, but sometimes I found it hard to calculate the level of the students. The students were motivated! I felt welcomed and had a great time exploring Latacunga and the surroundings in my time and days off. The apartment was at a good location. Quite basic and we had some issues with it, but Vero was always available to answer questions.

I really enjoyed my time at Tic tac toe, Vero was lovely, showed us around town and gave us different recommendations on things to eat/where to go ect. The appartment was spacious and other volunteers were lovely. The work was usually 3-7 pm teaching English to all ages, (mostly young kids- early 20s) with the odd morning shift, the students were all lovely, eager to learn and grateful for your help and tasks straightforward. Thanks Vero and the school😊

I really enjoyed my time volunteering in Latacunga. TicTacToe has a warm and positive atmosphere, and working with the kids was genuinely meaningful. They're curious, energetic, and fun to teach. The place is well-organized, the hours are clear, and the apartment is comfortable. Everything feels simple and stress-free, which makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. I'm really grateful for my time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and authentic volunteering opportunity
