I really enjoyed the experience; the staff is very friendly, the lunch was great, and the events were a lot of fun. I definitely recommend this experience. They truly foster a sense of community and go out of their way to communicate clearly and find solutions to everything.

I came to KL in general because it was the cheapest flight from Indonesia, But I stay because of my experience here. Volunteering here doesn't feel like work and it's not overwhelming either. KL I think is overlooked by quite a few travellers but the hostel does an amazing job at keeping the experience fun and engaging for both staff and visitors. Some of the perks volunteering here is the free accommodation, the free meal every single day, if you take guests out on an activity you will be reimbursed, the skills you're taught aren't daunting but rather self growth professional and much more

I have had such an incredible experience volunteering at the hostel (specifically Manor Hostel!!). They are all fantastic hostels geared towards creating a community of new friends (whether that be dinners, yoga, aqua aerobics, exploring waterfalls etc.). I had a mixture of roles involving front desk & events which meant I got to meet so many cool new friends and explore the city with them. The hosts really go out of their way to make you feel right at home, ensuring that you get to experience the real culture and cuisines of Malaysia. I would highly recommend volunteering here <3

It was truly a special experience that I'll always remember. During my time at the hostel I learned so much, met incredible people, and had the privilege of being part of an amazing and supportive team. Sinleong is an outstanding host. He always puts people first, and his main priority was making sure volunteers enjoyed their experience while creating a great atmosphere for guests. He was also very flexible with shifts and time off. The role could be quite busy, especially when I first arrived, but thanks to the wonderful team, it never felt overwhelming.
