I spent one month as a volunteer here. It was my first time teaching english, it was an exciting experience and the kids were very cute. I was looking forward to teach in a more rural area and was a bit disappointed when we found out that the planned location in the mountains had been canceled. The project team found a new location shortly before my stay ended. I'm very grateful for the experience I gained through the project. I think the idea behind it is great, and definitely worth supporting. Many thanks to Tony and Thi, i hope to return one day to see how the project has progressed!

Teaching English to the kids was a great chance to let go of my ego, feel free from the pressure of work, and enjoy the lessons with pure-hearted children. I had never realized that interconnection was so important until the locals invited me to join their meals. The people are sociable, friendly, and hospitable. They are the main characters of my story in Ha Giang, it's not just about how stunning the scenery is, but about how they inspired me to find a more suitable way of living. I am deeply grateful to Khai's family, Mr. Tony, and Ms. Thi for hosting me with such respect and thoughtfulnes

My experience there was amazing. I met a lot of local people and discovered places that you usually only get to know if you stay for a couple of weeks. The classes were super fun and interactive with the kids, and you also have enough time to go out and explore the area. I 100% recommend it if you like local experiences.

Thank you, Alex, for the amazing month you spent with us.
During this time, you brought so many beautiful memories, laughter, and meaningful moments to everyone. Through you, we shared cultures, learned more about Vietnam and its traditions, and most importantly, created a truly human connection.
The kids loved you so much, and saying goodbye was not easy at all.
This was more than just a volunteer experience — it was a heartfelt journey that we will always cherish.
