This role is reserved for people who love socializing, and speak fluent English, are outgoing and are looking to help create high quality vibes at the hostel. If you don’t enjoy putting yourself out there, having a drink and a laugh, this position is probably not best for you. Events range from group beach cleans to parties with live DJs, but also Beer Pong tournaments, games nights , trivias, or or any activity that creates a vibe.

This is a very fair exchange, you get a lot for what you do. The team is very accomodating and makes you feel welcome and the kitchen makes great food. Town is small but lively and you get great deals on travel to other places. Be aware that some times the waves can be crazy depending on the time of years do your research if you came to surf but the vibe is so chill here that 4 weeks will fly by :)

The hostel was an amazing hostel to volunteer at. The hostel itself is very beautiful and very well maintained. The work you do is actually fun and (if you enjoy gastronomy/bar work) and it was really cool to learn how to make some cocktails! The other staff members are all very welcoming and I had a lot of fun with them. It is a fair work exchange, as you get a lot of discounts, food, surfboards and yoga for free and it is a good split to work 4x a week for 7,5 h and have 3 days off. El Paredon is very small but if you enjoy the beach, sun and partying, then you will love your time at the hostel!

I had a great time at the hostel, from the second I walked into reception to the last goodbye, i felt welcomed. You will live in a little angle of paradise with amazing food & a great team. Hours & tasks are very doable - when the team is great, time literally flies. Pity i couldn't extend my stay, would have loved to!
