All accommodation fees are a direct, 100% donation to Centro Infantil de los Ángeles (CILA). Each donation will be used for the benefit of our children at the center: for food, teacher salaries, classroom supplies, maintenance, etc. We make every donation count and really appreciate the volunteers’ support in these efforts. Your donation also covers 2 meals a day Monday - Friday, hot showers, fast internet and housekeeping for one month.

The organization was my first volunteering experience with WorldPackers, and it was truly special. Dave, the Volunteer Coordinator, was kind, responsive, and helpful from start to finish, sharing clear travel info and even inviting me on a day trip to Dolores Hidalgo and the local tianguis. The school and staff are stellar and make a meaningful impact in the low-income community they serve. The volunteer house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable with private rooms and bathrooms. I highly recommend this experience, especially knowing the extra fee directly supports the school.

My experience at the organization has been a truly valuable part of my life. Spending a month with the energetic and cheerful children filled me with happiness, and it made me strongly determined to continue working to protect their smiles in the future. I am deeply grateful to Cinthya, who coordinated everything, to Paola, with whom I taught classes, to Mari, and to all the teachers at the organization for their incredible support. I sincerely appreciate everything and wish you all the best and happiness in the future!

Cinthya and the rest of the staff are very welcoming. My entire stay was nothing less than pleasant. The best part of the experience was interacting with the kids. It truly hurt to leave. I want to come back one day and volunteer again! The house is really comfortable and I loved working with the organization. I can't recommend this place enough!

I have stayed and volunteered with the organization twice now, and I can't stress just how great this experience is! Both times with this project, I have had such a great time- I got to make friends with youngins like myself in San Miguel, which added so much on top of my time at the organization, and the kids are so fun to work with! Cynthia is a phenomenal host, always making sure you have what you need and ready to help you with anything. The teachers and staff at the school are amazing, too! If you have the chance, I would stay at least 3 weeks because you'll get to know the kids and SMA well. Muchas Gracias :)!
