I had the most amazing month at Mittihpap, I would recommend to anyone hoping to make an impact within a local community, get to know the local culture and meet other likeminded the project travellers. It is a very unique opportunity that I would highly encourage anyone to sign up for as long as possible!

I stayed there for two weeks and it was amazing. Teaching English to the kids was incredibly fulfilling and fun. There was a great group of volunteers, and the host organized activities for us during our stay. We felt very welcome, and everything was very clear from the start. The food was also really good, and we had fresh fruit available to make our own smoothies whenever we wanted. Overall, it was an experience I would 100% recommend.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the project. The team is amazing, they really help you with your tasks and you feel confident even if you don't have much experience with kids. the project means friendship and I can say that I made friends for life during my time there. I definitely recommend the project and this experience will forever be one of my favorites!

It's impossible to put into words what this volunteer project has meant to me. the project became a home, even thousands of kilometers away from mine. It became a family—with the project leaders, the restaurant staff, everyone involved, and the volunteers. the project is a deep immersion into real local life in Laos, a constant enrichment through its beautiful culture and people. It will leave your heart with the children at school—nothing is more precious than their smiles and their desire to learn English. If you're in Laos and want to do something meaningful, you can't miss this experience.
