This project aims to restore degraded land by transitioning vegetation from seasonal plants to permanent forest cover. The area is initially dominated by short-lived plants that provide temporary ground cover but lack long-term stability. Through soil protection, water conservation, and controlled land use, native pioneer species are established to improve soil conditions and create a suitable environment for forest growth.

Hardi's project is truly commendable; it will provide you with priceless knowledge about the region and its environmental issues. This experience also gives you the chance to meet the locals, who are always very welcoming and always have stories to tell. Hardi is a thoughtful person, so if you enjoy deep and sometimes even philosophical discussions, you've come to the right place! Thank you, Hardi, for these memorable and funny moments!

Hopefully we can collaborate making a music video for some of your song😁. I'm honoured to keep guiding you around with Noel, she has really big energy that blowup anytime 😂 and that's what makes the period feels better and I couldn't thank you enough for everything. best wishes

I had a great experience with Hardi and his family. I spent 2 weeks in Temanggung and I was able to get to know their way of living, from agriculture to social settings and festives. Every day was full of activities when we wanted to, but Hardi is also very flexible with guests and their other commitments. If you are looking for a place where you can get in touch with locals, have adventures climbing volcanos, see beautiful nature, and participate in events like tabaco celebration or village fishing competition, don't hesitate to visit Hardi in Temanggug :))

I had a wonderful 11days with Hardy and his family. He is a really interesting guy and full of knowledge. I got to really see places I wouldn't have had the chance to without him. We went to many different villages and got a real experience of local life, we went hiking… through the paddy's, and different areas to coffee and tobacco fields, a waterfall. We did bamboo basket making with locals, batik, learnt about the process of coffee and tobacco, sunrise. And many other things. The meal by Diah in the evening was always delicious. I had a really authentic time being here and defo recommend 😁
