Phuc and Lily were truly exceptional hosts and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived at their lovely home. The working hours were more than reasonable, at around 3 hours a day, and, being honest, the time spent working felt more like play. I found that this experience allowed me to really immerse myself in the local culture, and I can't thank the hosts enough for sharing their lives with me over the past few weeks.

Hoang and his whole family were very kind, helpful, and supportive. Their house is spacious and located in a lovely environment. I only taught for a few hours a day, which left me with plenty of free time to explore Hanoi and the surrounding area. I also got to try the local cuisine and felt safe and welcomed throughout my stay. I highly recommend staying with them, and I hope we get to see each other again someday. ♥️

I had the most amazing time staying with the family. Phuc's and Lily's work is truly admirable, and I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to contribute their time and skills to help the school grow. The whole family made me feel incredibly welcome, and staying with them gave me the chance to experience Vietnamese everyday life in a way I never could have as a tourist. If you enjoy vibrant cities and local neighborhoods and are considering Hanoi as your next destination, please stay with them — I can only speak highly of my experience! Bora, Hungary

Lily and Phuc are absolutely amazing hosts, who are kind, generous, and welcoming! I had a nice private room in the home which is close to the airport and about 40 minutes away from Old Quarter Hanoi. The food prepared was delicious and teaching the children was such a fun experience. Not a lot of work and very fulfilling!
