The Experience
We run a busy friendly equine training and livery yard based in the beautiful Shropshire hills. We require someone to muck in and muck out 😀 A huge variety of horses from serious competition horses who show jump, event and do pure dressage to youngsters and happy hackers. We do require a little experience but are happy to teach anyone wanting to expand their knowledge and expertise.

I spent three months at the home and it was the best decision! to spend the winter active and in peace. The work is hard but then the body gets stronger. There are a lot of horses, the ideal is to work with more than two worldpackers...however when there are few of us, Terri makes sure that the work is not too heavy. Andy cooks very well, I enjoyed all his meals.. along with the conversations with the family... Everyone is very friendly. Terri and her family welcomed me very well, we spent Christmas together and it is a very warm house. All you are in my heart! thanks for everything!

It was a good experience, I was able to connect with nature and meditate, I learned a lot about horse care. Andi and Terri were very kind people, they received me with all the comforts and the dinners were the best. I recommend this place if you like animals and want to spend some peaceful moments.

I didn't want to leave ! Terri and Andi are adorable hosts, we learned a lot about English culture and have a great Time in their compagny and that of their family. One month is too short for me, so I can't wait to come back ! A real haven of peace, far too endearing animals. Lovers of cats, dogs and horses like me, go for it ! The work is regular, everything is respected (schedules, load and day of) nothing to complain about, only the pleasure of taking care of the confort of all these horses. Amazing experience, Thank you for your welcome and for everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely loved my time here!! I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. Terri is such a compassionate and kind human, you can really see how much she cares for her animals. She was always eager to answer any questions and made my stay at the home such a positive experience. Andy was lovely too! He prepared delicious meals each night for dinner and always has interesting stories to tell. The entire family is so so so lovely and becomes fast friends with anyone. The work is a bit rough at times, but very rewarding and the houses are incredibly gentle and sweet :)
