Rocky helped us with the administration of the business, gave us new ideas of how to improve the business, website, social media and design new methods and systems. He worked also in the front desk and was very professional. Thanks for your help Rocky!

The hostel is a literal oasis situated just outside the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. Here you will find a small-town community filled with the peace, ease, and serenity of a beach town…not to mention the relative proximity to everything L.A. & Hollywood has to offer. An incredibly big 'Thank You' to Angelica. She has created a work schedule that allows you to get some personal time each and every day, despite having two off days. The tasks she's put together are not difficult; they simply require a sense of efficiency and a keen eye on the details.

Rocky had a rock star status here. Thinking of better ways to run the hostel and association, submitting reports, giving practical advice to reception But still he was always willing to help with odd tasks as carrying sofas or helping out the maintenance staff.

The hostel was an incredibly serene and pleasant experience. Thank you to all the staff, including Adir & Kobi, for creating such a relaxing and comfortable environment. That being said, an especially big and warm thank you to three specific ladies…the angels to my Charlie (apologies for the American Charlie's Angels reference). Shahaf, Shachar, Hadar...you three are unforgettable and will always have a special place in my heart. If nothing else, the life and love these three ladies bring to the hostel every day are worth every moment at the hostel. Shalom alechem...

Omer, the ILH (Israel Hostels Association), and Overstay provided an incredible opportunity to work within an atypical volunteer position. Many thanks for creating such a position and allowing me to be the first to navigate and test these waters. True to the position listed, I will not forget the generous hospitality Omer showed me as we visited and worked with hostels throughout Israel...from Tel Aviv, to Haifa, and Tiberias.
