O Peter e a Loreta me acolheram muito bem. E pude além de trabalhar, conhecer um pouco mais dessa ilha linda.
Mas já aviso, prepare as pernas, pois tudo fica bem distante, então para conhecer alguns dos lugares mais bonitos, precisará de caminhadas bem longas. Mas não deixe de ir a Keem Bay, a praia mais linda da Irlanda.
As instalações são muito boas, com cama bem confortável e quarto e banheiro privados.

Péssima! Uma das piores que já tive como voluntariada.
Desde a 1° eu disse que meu inglês era iniciante e na descrição deles além do inglês eles falam que espanhol também é aceito, por isso me candidatei. Me aceitaram, porém durante apenas uma semana vivendo no hotel parecia que estava a um mês no inferno. Escutei gritos, reviradas de olho, nenhum tipo de tentativa de comunicação comigo... e tudo porque eu não tinha o inglês.
O horário de trabalho é picado durante o dia, então você fica sem poder fazer muita coisa e o seu dia livre é dito quase no meio do dia, assim não consegue se planejar...

Peter provides with the three meals and the private room. However, he is a person who is not prepared to have international volunteers. Out of the 6 weeks I was there, 5 weeks I worked overtime and only had 1 day off, and you never know what your schedule or day off is in advance because he doesn't know how to plan or communicate. If you think about going to a pub at night he gives you a curfew (12-1am) and if you are late you can get scolded as if you were 13 yo or find yourself locked out. He was also very disrespectful to me, condescending and not easy to talk to nor to his wife.

Peter and Loretta are kind to take care of you like one of their own and entrust you with responsibility in the bar/restaurant and/or hotel. The hotel is in a great spot, near the entrance to the Great Western Greenway, supermarket, pharmacy, two other pubs, and in the heart of Achill Sound, the gateway to the incredible island. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly, and the living quarters are very comfortable. Thanks to the hosts, you’ll have a bike to borrow to explore further, as well as many a night at the bar getting to know each other, other locals, and tourists passing through.

Mi experiencia fue muy buena. conocí gente increíble en el hotel. Peter es una gran persona que junto a su esposa y a la gente que trabaja en el hotel me recibieron de la mejor manera ayudandome en todo. recomiendo 100% está experiencia. vayan a visitar el hotel y la isla!
