Alzira's Farm - Sítio Caminho do Bem

Rolante, is a municipality that is 117 kilometers from Porto Alegre, in the region of the Paranhana Valley, it's a small town known as the "National Capital of the Cuca." It is a great destination for those looking for natural attractions, with beautiful waterfalls, such as the Andorinha, for example, that can be easily accessed by an ecological trail. It is also a destination for those seeking adventure sports in Rio Grande do Sul, such as rappelling or free-flying activities performed on a ramp specializing in the Hanging Delta (hang-gliding), suitable for practicing the sport where it's possible to jump as a paraglider and hang gliding. Our farm is located in the rural area of the town, but 2 kilometers from the center. Our plantations are for our subsidence, we have some cows and chickens, many fruit trees. There are accommodation options in a common masonry house or a bio-building. There is the possibility of learning techniques of Bioconstruction and Meliponiculture in addition to normal agriculture.

This farm, is an invitation to experience family farming, organic and ecological. We offer a good place to sleep, healthy eating and have the opportunity to exchange knowledge. Alzira is a warrior woman who is 84 years old and works as far as possible with her plantations. We need people who love nature and are willing to learn.
