Nous recherchons des bénévoles qui aiment rester en contact avec les gens, qui parlent anglais et éventuellement français et qui peuvent nous aider à accueillir les gens et à les faire se sentir chez eux et nous aider au menage de la maison ! Le type d'aide demandé est typique d'une maison où vivent de nombreuses personnes et change de jour en jour, nous demandons donc une certaine flexibilité.

Amina and her staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming - it definitely felt like a home away from home! Though the staff don’t speak English, I found it really easy to communicate with them via Google translate and learned a lot about them, their culture and customs. They were so kind and generous, always offering extra food they made.

The help required was easy and only consisted of a few hrs during breakfast - the rest of the day is what you make it! I had a private room, which was a nice change from hostels and overall had a very relaxing time in Fez. Thank you Amina 🥰🥰🥰

Amina made me feel welcomed since day 1, looking after me and making sure everything was fine. Everyone here had been super friendly and nice, It was a short stay but I had such a good time. The tasks were very easy, I enjoyed it, I had lot of time to explore Fez, specially because of the Riad’s location, just in the heart of the Medina. There is a wonderful terrace where I love to spend time. Fez is safe and there is a lot of things to do, lot of places to explore, and it’s also full of history. I would definitely come back for a longer stay if I could. I am very grateful for the experience.

La estadía en el pequeño y lindisimo hotel de Amina fue muy agradable.
Es un lugar de armonía, paz y tranquilidad.
El hotel está ubicado en un sitio perfecto dentro de la Medina y tiene dos terrazas con vista increíble sobre la misma.
Para mi fueron unos días muy especiales de descanso y de recarga de energía para continuar mi viaje. Tuve la posibilidad de recorrer la Medina y conocer gran parte de las callejuelas que componen el gran laberinto de Fez.
Amina es una anfitriona muy especial, pendiente siempre de todos los detalles.

It wasn‘t the right place for me to stay for an entire month at that moment but I could talk to Amina about it and she was nice understanding it and it was not a problem leaving earlier (after nearly 3weeks) than first agreed. There were not a lot of guests at that moment and the really nice girl working there unfortunately only spoke arabic so it felt a little bit too isolated for me and I wasn‘t in the right state of mind/ mood at that moment for spending most of the time alone. Of course I met some guests and also people when I did activities in and around Fes and the city is interesting.

Hello, I know I'm writing the response late, but I just wanted to respond to her words. On the first day I arrived, I was very nice and we don't ask her to do anything other than simple things. Even on several occasions she asked me to go out with the clients and she agreed just so she wouldn't be alone even though that's forbidden, and in the end she says She was not comfortable when her friend came to Marrakesh, and she asked me not to go to her grocery store because her friend was coming to Marrakesh, and I happily agreed. I cannot go with her if she wants to go out. She is secluded and does not go out.

Amina est une personne extraordinaire. J'ai passé un très bon moment chez vous/riad. Ce fut un plaisir de partager avec elle et sa famille. J'étais seul avec elle, avec Fashima et Rislan, la communication était un beau défi (cela n'a jamais été un obstacle). Si vous souhaitez découvrir la culture et goûter des plats délicieux, je recommande vivement ce volontariat. Les tâches sont simples et Amina vous les explique. avec beaucoup de patience et d'amour. De plus, vous n'êtes jamais seul, puisque les tâches sont réparties et qu'elles vous accompagnent à tout moment. je vais revenir.
