The property has a dedicated art school which also promotes the concept of providing employment to the village and tribal societies. Groups and Families are welcome here for a one-day picnic or you can spend a night with us in our newly made cozy container rooms.
We are a local Family who started Avanti Kalagram as social work and have turn it into a business with the help of social media. Our staff local, personally trained for the past 6 years, have a problem speaking English but can understand it and are willing to learn.

My time at Avanti Art Resort was quite comfortable- the homecooked meals are delicious, the room provided for volunteers is peaceful, and the scenery is amazing. However, when it comes to tasks and communication that is where things became a bit more difficult. Only the owner speaks English and is not around most of the time. Many times when I asked to help, one person would tell me to start a task and then ten minutes into the job another person would tell me to start. Overall, it felt that they were not really utilising volunteers to their potential.

Avanti Art Resort is a very unique experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to escape the busy world. There is very little to do around the resort most days, so I spent much of my time reading or exploring the surrounding hillside. It’s somewhat difficult to get into the city and back, but perfect for a nice retreat.

El staff súper amigable y servicial, muy buenas personas! Me encantó conocerlos y estoy muy agradecido por el trato, a pesar de que la comunicación era muy difícil al hablar la mayoría de ellos sólo hindi o apenas inglés y costaba muchísimo entenderse..
El lugar maravilloso y pude inculcarlme en la cultura India y divertirme como ellos se divierten, fue una experiencia única.
Hice tareas en la construcción aunque también pude llevar un poco las redes sociales!

Avanti Art Resort was a very pleasant stay. I photographed & updated their Instagram. Pranav is a great person who offers you space to both enjoy and make great work. We had interesting talks about culture & history. The amazing staff are hard working people and will help you wherever they can. Food & accommodation was good and greatly appreciated. They surprised me with a home recipe at the end!
I recommend for volunteers who enjoy art, nature, local culture and interacting with guests who stay there. They taught me to make chapatis! Hope to see you all again!

I cannot praise enough the support and hospitality shown by the people who works in this resort.Coolest host I've ever met. Loved all the people I've worked with. Place and food is also outstanding. Had an amazing time.
