Bananas Bungalows

We are in a very beautiful environment in Krabi Khao Thong. Beautiful sunsets in the Phang Nga Bay. Its a very nice community here with people from all over the world. You can do nice trips like island trips, kayaking, hiking etc are included for you.
We are a bungalow/hostel/resort mix place.

Iam the owner of bananas bunglows. at the moment we do have 6 staff working for us and always two volunteers. you will have free food and accommodation during your stay.

It was an amazing month @ Bananas Bungalows. The entire staff is so wonderful, from the kitchen ladies to Olli and Brett who runs the place, we had so much fun! And the food, wow, so good! I could enjoy all the tours and activities they offer for free and get to know some local secret spots away from the tourist crowd what I loved! The schedule is flexible and you can easily adjust if you need to. You'll have a shared room for up to 2 volunteers. It's a quiete area, what was great to rest. To go to town you can rent a scooter or take the local bus for only 100 bah. Thanks for everything guys!

I stayed four weeks at the Bananas Bungalow. It was my second experience and again, it was wonderful! The place itself with the beautiful nature is amazing. The staff, the other volunteers and the owner, Olli, everything wonderful. I could have a small view about the different tasks and also problems about running a Hostel, this was wonderful for me, because i want to learn something new. There is just one small thing that was not perfect: the sleeping situation. There is no Aircon in the volunteers room, so it was a bit hot for me. But it was totally okay, because of all the good things :)

I loved every day as a volunteer here. You learn the job quickly, you have to be very sociable, motivated, like to help and everything goes well. The guests are always very nice. Everything is well organized, you just need to know the right basic informations ! It's a perfect place to be close to nature, animals and to relax.

My stay at Bananas has been simply memorable. I met so many international travellers and made a true and beautiful friendship with the local staff. You will fall in love with the place. The hours are super well respected, and you deal about it with the other two volunteers. The job is easy, you will learn fast, just don't be lazy!
Thanks to Ollie and to all the others that made this experience unforgettable.
