Not only did I have the opportunity to teach english and connect with the students I also met so many amazing other volunteers and formed deep and meaningful connections in a short period of time. Within one day at VCV I already felt included and part of the group :)

An incredible experience. Everyone is really warm and welcoming and you will feel like home only after a couple of days. I loved the fact that VCV organised different events outside of teaching which gave you a chance to get to know students better and explore local culture. You have loads of free time for yourself, exploring city or spending time with other volunteers. I couldn’t recommend this enough :)

We had the pleasure of having Emilija volunteer with us for three months, and we couldn't be more grateful for her dedication and hard work. Emilija is not only very nice and responsible but also incredibly lovely. Despite not being very talkative, she exudes a warmth that makes everyone around her feel comfortable and appreciated. Her friendly demeanor and positive attitude have truly brightened our workspace. We are thankful for her contributions and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

I stayed at VCV for three months and it was amazing. I learned alot about myself through teaching here and I made some amazing friends. Your work hours are up to 3 hours a day so you have lots of free time :)) I got to explore North Vietnam and treat hanoi as my home. The area you stay in is safe and you live in an apartment. Making connections with the local Vietnamese people and my students was also loads of fun. The whole experience was very positive. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

Teaching English in Vietnam through VCV was an enlightening experience that helped me grow. During my stay, I became more confident and gained new perspectives. I met many students who were eager to learn, and I felt fulfilled knowing that I was making a difference in their lives.

Besides teaching, I made good friends through the program. We explored the city together and I felt a sense of community, which was something I missed since moving away from home.

I decided to stay for two more months to continue teaching and be part of my students' progress.

Kavin is a kind and pleasant volunteer who always brings joy to those around him. It was a pleasure to have Kavin work with us as a volunteer, primarily focusing on marketing, although he also lent a hand in teaching when needed. Kavin quickly adapted to teaching and displayed significant improvement, being proactive when provided with clear guidance in his tasks.

I've had the best time at VCV! Ms. Hay and the team are very hospitable and welcoming. The other volunteers were also very friendly, and I've made so many great memories. The location is handy as there are heaps of cafes nearby. You get to meet locals and build connections with students, so you get a good feel for the surrounding community. The room I shared was quite spacious and the provided meals every day were super delicious. I would highly recommend VCV !!!!

We greatly enjoyed having Sara with us last month. Sara, though quiet in larger groups, is a lovely and positive individual who shines in small, personal conversations. She displayed remarkable responsibility and commitment, embracing teaching with enthusiasm. Sara's openness to feedback led to noticeable improvements in her teaching within just two weeks. We hope to have the pleasure of working with her again in the future.
