We are looking for somenone who has good social skills and English!!! By Doors Hostel is close to the metro Casa da Musica. It is 20 min to the beach and 15 min to downtown by public transport (bus). Muy buena primera experiencia! Un hostal familiar y pequeño, que me permitió aprender sobre administración y recepción. El turno nocturno me permitió conocer Porto y sus alrededores durante el día sin problema! Si bien por estar el hostal en un barrio residencial, no había muchas cosas que hacer en el sector en la noche.

Very welcoming reception! The place is perfectly clean and comfortable. Also te kitchen is equipped with everything you need! About the tasks, sometimes was heavy duty, but just because were only 2 volunteers working with cleaning. Maybe with more volunteers, the job will get easier.

The hostel is super well located and also super organized and clean. It’s was very comfortable to be there when it comes to facilities (a kitchen to cook, utensils, nice place to sleep, location, cleanness, etc). I felt very welcomed at arrival. I’d only recommend the hosts to approve more volunteers for the cleaning tasks (in which I was) cause sometimes/some days the work was really tiring and hard for just 1-2 volunteers (once the hostel is quite big). And for times, it would be just us to clean it all, or there was so much to clean, so we had to do extra hours to be able to finish it.

No by doors hostel tive minha primeira experiência como voluntária e não poderia ter sido melhor. Jeitinho brasileiro até do outro lado do oceano. Todos foram super receptivos e tive bons momentos com eles. Só tenho a agradecer pela hospitalidade de todos.

O By Doors é um hostel que está em um local agradável com apenas 10 min de caminhada do metro (o que facilita ir para qualquer lugar do Porto) e 50 min de caminhada consegue ver o mar..😍. Há supermercados muito próximo. O pequeno almoço é bem servido e é possível cozinhar no local. Esse foi o hostel mais organizado e limpo do qual já passei e isso devo dar todos os créditos à Larissa, uma pessoa bem querida que pude compartilhar minhas horas de trabalho com ela. Os anfitriões são respeitosos, o meu agradecimento ao André pela oportunidade de voluntariar lá e ao Sr. Galdino e a Sra Christiane
