We are a comfortable hostel located in Monte Estoril, 23 km from Lisbon and 10 km from Sintra. Cascais is 1.5 km away and can be easily accessed through a beautiful footpath by the sea. Lisbon Airport - Humberto Delgado is 25 km from the property.
The volunteers will integrate a small but very friendly and cheerful team, committed to making this hostel one of the most famous in the city for its welcoming and friendliness. They will be treated with all courtesy as if they were from the house.

I had a lot of fun in this experience! Monte Estoril is such an amazing place where to stay, really close to the beach and just 15 minutes walking from the center of Cascais. The hostel was really cozy and comfortable and the people there were really kind: both the staff and the long term volunteers.

Foi minha primeira experiência com voluntariado e não poderia ter sido em um lugar melhor! A equipe do Hostel é muito profissional e acolhedora, as funções são bem simples e bem esclarecidas de antemão. O Hostel tem uma ótima localização, perfeito para quem gosta de boas praias e zona urbana tranquila, porém com ótimos restaurantes, bares, supermercados, etc.

My experience was nice and very different from what I had before because the volunteers have more responsibility regarding the reception. The positive part is that we always (always!) have Julia and Uil’s support, it’s easy to change the schedule when you need it and the hostel is located in a beautiful area! The staff, the volunteers and the guests (especially the long stays) are all lovely people 🤗

This was my first volunteer experience and it was really nice! I decided to stay longer than i first intended to, because I didn’t want to leave. The hostel became like a small family to me, both the guests and the staff.
Most of the shifts (6 hours) you work alone in the reception, but Julia and Uil are available through whatsapp when you need help. They are also really patient while you are learning how things work here!
The surrounding area is really nice and Lisbon is not far away. I’m so grateful for all the beautiful memories!
