Cloud Berry Farm

You will have opportunity to have interaction with Korean family. At the same time, you are able to learn about farming (we plant strawberries, tomatoes and sweet potatoes) in countryside.
Most of the time volunteers have to help korean children to cook or to do some activites (in english).

We treat all volunteers with respect and we hope this is mutual. We provide weekly schedule to volunteers so that they are able to plan their free time in advance.

I had a lovely time at Cloudberry! Met a lot of nice people, enjoyed the good food from Mama, and had lots of fun working at the farm and exploring Gimhae and Busan. Sam and Sophia were very nice, and good at recommending places to visit, as well as taking us on trips. Enjoyed my stay!

highly recommend this experience–i really enjoyed working with the kids and families. it was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but eventually i got used to the work and it became super fun. i feel like i’ve grown a lot as a result, and i’m so grateful! sam is a great host, i got to try a lot of korean foods and learn so much about the culture because of him. will miss the farm and all the amazing people there :)

Absolutely wonderful experience!!!! Made lifelong friends while I was there and of course, the kids stole my heart time and time again. I did get food poisoning while I was there (don't know what from exactly) and our gas ran out a few times which made for icy showers but other than that I always felt safe and comfortable. My one caution for first time volunteers/travelers is to remember that you are not going to a five-start hotel. Basic needs are met but your attitude about the rest is up to you. So make the most of it! Sam was also very concerned and careful to respect our time off.

It was my first time volunteering and I could not have wished for a better experience. I will miss the farm a lot. Sam is an incredibly generous man. He makes you feel welcomed, helps with any problem, takes us out to eat delicious food and visit beautiful places near by. During the weekdays we mostly worked in the farm, where Sam explained us our tasks well, so even with no experience, you'll be okey. On the weekends we had families, school or kindergarten kid groups. With them we cooked and played games in English. Not to forget to mention the delicious food that was provided every lunch!

I found the right place in South Korea!
Since I teach children in Brazil, being at Cloudberry was a great and easy experience.
Sam is a great person and also very funny. The other volunteers were amazing and I was able to learn a little bit from each of them. We had at least one daytrip a week, where we could see other places in the area.
Thank you to Sam, Cloud, Sophia, Mama, everyone I met during the activities and all the volunteers too.

Hey Ek~~

Having you be part of the cloud berry family was really refreshing. You have a very bright personilty and social skills that mesmerized everyone. Especially the kids couldn's stop laughing when they were playing with you. It makes totaly sense that you are a teacher. I'm really glad that someone as reliable and hardworking as you came to cloud berry. I wish you the best for any future project and you are always welcomed to come back.
