El Granado Hostel

Our guests are everything from young backpackers to families with children and pets. Our hostel is a great place to meet people from all over the world, get in contat with different cultures and practice languages. Granada is an old university town of great cultural importance with easy access to open-air activities and a thriving student nightlife. Overlooking town and at the feet of snow capped mountains lies the Alhambra, an old morish fortress catagoriezed as a world heritage by the UNESCO.

We are a Polish-Italian couple who run a medium size relaxed hostel in the center of Granada. We took it over just at the beginning of June and we are now improving it step by step. There's room for everyone's ideas and we try to make a motivated, integrated team where everyone is equal.

The experience was absolutely amazing! All the staff was super helpful and friendly. The tasks aren’t difficult, and the tasks like dinner with the guests were super nice and fun to do. Also, Granada is an amazing city with a looot to explore! Thanks El Granado family for this opportunity :) definitely recommend!

I had an awesome experience at El Granado Hostel and will gladly come back!
Definetly recommended!
Tasks are fair and easy, the environment supergreat and the hostel itself lovely and cozy! Give it a try 😊

Without doubt the best experience of all so far. El Granado hostel was the fourth hostel I worked for and it sure was the best one. The hostel staff is amazing, including Marco who is the best boss! The structure of the hostel is very good as well, clean, organized and well located. The tasks are super easy, the volunteer's job is basically organize tours with the guests and events at the hostel. In the morning help with the beds and breakfast. The shifts are interspersed with the other volunteers, so you not get tired of doing the same thing. I'll really miss the ElGranado!

Raquel was a great volunteer, one of our best so far. She's responsible, hardworking, independent and has a variety of useful skills. We would be happy to have her here at El Granado again and fully recommend her to anyone.

My experience volunteering in El Granado was absolutely amazing. The work is very easy, and actually we are not just working but having fun at the same time. Marco is a very friendly and attentive person, always making sure that you are well with the work shifts and accommodation. To be honest, all the staff and the volunteers are great people!! You have enought time to enjoy and visit the beautiful city of Granada, and also other cities or beaches nearby. I would definitely reccomend spending some time in El Granado! And of course, I will visit you guys next time I visit the city :)

Best hostel I've been. What a beautiful vibe this place has! I felt happy all the time. The work is easy and fair. Marco it's the best boss ever, he's cool, friendly, fair and understandable. In fact, the entire staff is phenomenal. El Granado became my home and they, my family (and Granada is a wonderful and exciting city that welcomes you and that you never want to leave).I can't imagine a more perfect place for my first experience as a worldpacker.
Marco, Rita, Hamza, Dany, Charlotte, Justine, Hadrien, Sonia, Cruz, Eli, I will never forget you guys. Fueron bellos momentos.Gracias por todo!
