Escape3points Ecolodge

Our location (the closest eco lodge to the center of the earth (4°N,2°W) allows us to use tourism to help protect sea turtles and the last remaining semi deciduous coastal forest in Ghana. We believe that responsibly minded private industry can lead the way to sustainable positive change in Ghana.

Thanks to our welcoming family and team, we can offer you a unique opportunity to get involved. Through the integration of volunteers we connect local ideas with ones from abroad. We hope that in joining our team you will bring with you a knowledge base that adds to our team, while having the opportunity to learn something for yourself such as organic/permaculture gardening, sustainable building, using upcycled materials, lodge management, cooking local dishes, language skills, surfing...

What a fantastic time I had volunteering, living and learning at Escape. Many life lessons were gained during my time here. The owner of the lodge is truly a visionary, and what an inspiring project he has managed to create!

Community living was transformative for me on every level and I made incredible connections and memories with staff, volunteers & guests. The nature at the lodge is unbelievably beautiful w/ lots of activities and places to see in the area.

My only challenge was the lack of structure & management for volunteers. However, this pushed me to be innovative and adaptable

This is a great place to volunteer if you are a nature lover and wants to leave a good impact on earth . The projects is interesting and the other volunteers are great people. Beautiful sunset and sunrise at the beach .There is a turtle hatchery on the property right at the beach so i got to release the baby turtle at the beach when they hatch,it was a beautiful experience. I was really impressed by the training and support for new volunteers.
