Experience the culture and language in Kondae

Close to Konkuk and Sejong University. There are a lot of young people in the neighborhood and shops and restaurants are cheaper than any other University areas in Seoul.

I'm Jeong-Yoon, the manager here. I grew up in Europe for some time and speak English as my second language. I am very much used to working with foreigners and I promise to provide a safe place for visitors to make them feel like home :)

I had an awesome time volunteering here! The shifts were super chill, and I met a bunch of great people. Yoon’s a wonderful host, really easygoing and lets you set your own schedule. The share house is in the perfect spot too, and Kondae’s a really fun area with tons to do. I’d definitely recommend volunteering here!

My time in Korea through the language studio was unforgettable and this experience exceeded my expectations by so much! Thank you to Yoon, staff, fellow volunteers, and of course the students for making everyday special.

If you are looking to learn more about Korean culture this is the place to go. You will speak with locals at all age ranges and backgrounds. They have many unique insights and amazing recommendations!

Kondae is a great part of Seoul in its own right, but it is also nearby Gangnam and not too far from other major tourist hubs throughout the city.

you can't arrive until 13h00 because no one can enter the accommodation before that time. The following information in the offer should be added: It's a semi-basement flat of about 40 - 45 m2 with two rooms (one of them with three bunk beds that cover each other and you can hardly see them and the other smaller one with two bunk beds) in fact when I arrived the other volunteer did not even know which was my bed because they were all occupied or with piles of clothes (because there's not enough space for so many people)so it made me feel not welcomed. The place is small, full of stuff and dirt
