Family home

Warm and friendly home which is clean, bright and modern. Your room comes with a queen bed, wardrobe, draws and desk. Relax in the big lounge room and watch TV or cook in the open plan kitchen. I can provide food if I am at home but sometimes I travel away for work and during that time, I’m unable to provide food.
Convenient location with public transport at the front door. A large shopping center is 10 minutes walk away.

We would love to get to know you and and know more about your home country. We hope you will become a friend and family member. Volunteers that have an open and giving attitude will be treated with excellent hospitality and generosity in return.

A lot of things were just not the same as the host said she would offer on the platform.

The house and my bedroom were really dirty and I think at least giving me CLEAN sheets&pillows is a reasonable request.

I was supposed to be exchanging child care for accommodation but since I moved to the host’s other house that had vacant rooms for rent, I was responsible for all the cleaning. On the platform it said 1day-off, but it turned out that only if I worked 4 hrs a day that I could take a break. This was not mentioned before.
