I signed up for a marketing option, in my application I was clear about the reason why I was volunteering: I wanted to get some experience in my field. I went all the way to Turkey and I never got assigned anything from marketing. I had a great time, I helped with some tasks, and I met great people and we had a blast. The experience was cool but I left earlier cause it didn't fulfill my reason to be there. Volunteers do a great job showing the new ones around but I would suggest better communication and leadership. They don't provide meals, just eggs, cheese and left veggies from the farm.

Burak was very friendly, however due to an unfortunate misunderstanding between us the tasks which I applied for wasn't what was agreed. I was supposed to be there to do content creation, videography and photography but on arrival was made aware that those agreed tasks were only a small part of the volunteer position and in fact I would be working physical labor on the farm and fields too. Once I had spoken with Burak he did what he could to try to accommodate me with my injuries (which is why I applied here as content creator etc) but this was not feasible in the end so I left early.

Fue nuestra primera experiencia como voluntarios y nos fuimos muy conforme con todo, el trabajo fue lo acordado y la relación con los muchachos fue excelente a pesar de la barreras del idioma, lo recomiendo absolutamente. Burak siempre fue muy dispuesto a todas las consultas que le realizamos, un abrazo 🤗
