GAIA lodge and Spanish school is a small venture located in the Amazon Rainforest, one of the most beautiful and bio diverse areas of the world. Our goal is to offer great services in a familiar atmosphere. Our services, activities and tours are designed to offer a complete immersion in the nature and culture of the Amazon Rainforest. All participants can be part of our staff, and benefits our services at the same time, such as spanish courses, activities and tours.
Being the owner, I am flexible and friendly person always ready to support my staff. I maintain friendly relationships with every person involved in GAIA as well as the indigenous communities living nearby. Most of our staff is native indigenous that speaks Kichwa and Spanish. They are welcoming and friendly people always open to learn new things. Our volunteers can expect to be treated with respect and kindness in a friendly atmosphere. Be sure that we'll also take a good care of your safety and comfort, we reseve tourists and students, so everything is thought to make them (and volunteers) feeling at home.

My experience at GAIA LODGE was unforgettable. I had the opportunity to learn about the local culture and also the fauna and flora. The host offers daily Amazon tours that are simply fascinating. The meals served are delicious. And I was lucky enough to have a suite room all to myself. Honestly the benefits this host offers are better than a volunteer could ask for. There were some days with bigger clientele that I worked more than expected but it is acceptable taking into account the benefits granted by the host. Fueron muchas risas en la cocina con Diana e Indira. Aventura y mucho aprendizaje con Roberth y chichico todo un personaje... Agustín es una persona super amigable y relajado. Uno de mis mejores voluntariados hasta ahora, Gracias Gaia!!

Fue una experiencia increíble, Indi, Diana, Rober, Chichico y el anfitrión Agustín son unas excelentes personas, la comida demasiado buena, y todo el tiempo tienes oportunidad de seguir mejorando el inglés, los tours son una maravilla, les recomiendo soliciten a Rober les lleve a la cascada donde se pueden hacer un clavado 😁, sin duda recomiendo hacer voluntariado en este magnífico lugar

Me encantó mi experiencia en Gaia. Agustín, Indi, Diana y Roberto fueron extremadamente acogedores y cariñosos conmigo. La oportunidad de participar en todas las excursiones como traductora ha sido súper beneficiosa para mejorar mi comprensión del español, ¡en un mes mi español es mucho mejor que cuando llegué! Aprendí mucho sobre la cultura Kichwa y la fauna de los alrededores y no me aburrí ni un segundo. El contacto con los turistas también es muy fácil, lo que contribuye a crear un gran ambiente en el lodge.

es espectacular, Gaia Lodge tiene muchísima magia, no puedo expresar lo agradecido que estoy con Agustín y todo el Staff, Agustín es una persona muy humana, te pregunta si estás bien, mantiene pendiente y cuando hacemos buen trabajo nos recompensa. el lugar es increíble, el trabajo no se siente como trabajo, pasas demasiado tiempo divirtiendote y haciendo amigos de todo el mundo, si estás en ecuador es una experiencia que debes vivir
