Cuando haces tu voluntariado con nosotros podrás descubrir la isla mientras nos ayudas a mejorar nuestro hostel y bar, y crear experiencias divertidas, memorables y de respeto a la naturaleza con personas de todo el mundo! Además aprenderás de una comunidad muy pequeña e isleña, aprendes el idioma español y el porqué proteger este lugar es tan importante

Nuestro hostel es familiar por lo que conocerás a nuestra familia mientras hacemos diferentes labores para el hostel y el bar La mayoría hablamos inglés y podemos ayudarte con cualquier inquietud sobre la isla. Como voluntario eres parte de nuestro equipo por lo que esperamos que todos colaboremos en distintas actividades y aprendamos mutuamente

Fiorella and her family were so welcoming and kind to me, they were amazing hosts!! I did some cleaning, painting and occasionally worked in the bar in the afternoons. I also helped create decorations for the halloween party we threw which was super fun and cool. Had such a great time meeting so many locals and getting to know the island and the beautiful animals.

This was my first Worldpackers and I loved it! Bar de Beto is a sweet place to hang out and meet guests staying at the hostel. Fiorella is an awesome manager. She is understanding, knowledgeable about the island, and super sweet! My job included cleaning (mostly sweeping), creating decor for the bar, content creation etc. highly recommend. Good location too.

Absolutely loved my time volunteering at Hostel Galapagos! Fiorella was so lovely to work with and really explained the tasks very thoroughly. The work was really fun, a mix of bar work, cleaning, painting and helping with decorations for the upcoming party.
The bar and hostel facilities are really great and felt right at home.
Would really recommend to anyone wanting to experience life on Isla Isabela, as there’s heaps of free time to explore the island. ☺️

✅ ¡Fiorela me recibió calurosamente y me incluyó con sus amigos para una noche de hot dogs! El hostal era muy cómodo con cocina y terraza. La experiencia de voluntariado es una excelente manera de experimentar la vida en la isla. las actividades que realizaban principalmente eran pintura.
❌ Un día cuándo estaba trabajando aprendí que mi padre era al hospital. Llame a mi familia y el padre me preguntó agresivamente de dejar de llamar y de ir a pintar aunque le informe de la situación y le dije que podía quedarme más tarde y que iba a acabar mi trabajo.

I really really loved volunteering at Galápagos hostel. I felt really welcomed there! Fiorella explains everything very clear and is always there to help and guide you. I was working 4 hours a day and tasks were super easy like cleaning some floors, preparing decoration for party and having some shifts at the bar. The location is amazing and impossible not to enjoy being there 🥰 also Fiorella was very flexible abt hours so I could join the tours when I wanted. Other than that you can just chill on the beach and enjoy the island. I recommend 10000% to anyone 😊
