Green Garden Food Forest Buriram

I am Thai & vegan. I have my own garden food forest farm . It is located in Krasang sub-district, Satuek district, Buriram Province, Thailand. It is a food forest farm which has 10 Rais and full of edible flowers, bamboos, bananas, herbs,moringa, local vegetables and local trees. It is sustainable agriculture and permaculture garden that has a great ecosystem. I promote vegan cuisine and I have plenty kinds of herbs that have high nutrients .


We cook and eat together as the members of our family. We do activities together. When we have free time we can go swimming together. Also, we can try to visit the temple to learn culture.

I learnt how to plant rice the traditional way. It was a new experience for me and I really enjoyed it! Then I learnt a lot of vegan recipes. Also staying in traditional house in nature was nice. Thank you for this experience !

No better place to learn about permaculture and live like a real thai farmer. We had a really good time at the green garden food forest. The host is a good exemple of female empowerment and we wish her all the best of luck in creating this little heaven. Everyday we had good and healthy food. As non veggie/vegan we learnt a lot about eating meals without meat or chicken. The tasks were very different from each other, which we liked very much :)

This experience was very unique and educational. Mrs. Green fosters a very welcoming environment at her farm. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot while I was there (38 degrees) which made it difficult to work in the heat, but Mrs. Green was accommodating and ensured that I got enough rest. My favorite part of the experience was getting a glimpse of local life in the village community and spending time with the local kids. I can't wait to visit again (during a less hot month haha)!

I had a great time at Angel‘s Green Garden! We ate a lot of delicious vegan food and the days were filled with different tasks on the farm. We also had enough time for ourselves and to relax! Angel is a very kind soul and I learned a lot from her. It‘s great to experience local cuisine, life and culture.
