Estamos situados en un edificio rehabilitado de 1890, justo a los pies del casco antiguo de Cuenca y a 200 metros de la zona de bares y restaurantes de la ciudad.
Los trabajadores del hostel somos familia, con lo que serás tratado@ como uno más de nuestra familia. Será un trabajo cómodo, ayudar a hacer camas, hacer algún check in tardio y si nos enseñas idiomas mejor que mejor.

Es un habitación muy linda, limpio, y seguro. No recomiendo para practicar español, creo que es mejor si ya hablas con fluidez. Viene un día tarde y eran muy amables; pero dijo que tengo que practicar mi español pero Le envié un mensaje con una traducción para comunicar mejor y creo que el dueño guardaba un pequeño rencor. Pero en todo Cuenca es hermoso y la gente son muy amable. Pero no te recomiendo si quieres ir de fiesta

Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora ! Juan, Elena y Dani te enseñan todas las tareas de manera muy simple y como mejorar tu forma de limpiar.
Durante los primeros dias de mi estancia, me enfermé y fueron muy comprensivos. Me ofrecieron ayuda y estuvieron muy atentos a mi bienestar.
Cuenca es una ciudad que tiene mucho que ofrecer. La mayoría de los museos son gratuitos para los estudiantes y menores de 26 años, también se puede hacer senderismo, etc.

I don’t know how I can start describing my experience in Cuenca… It was simply amazing! Juan, Helena and Dani made the experience feel like home and i felt really cared. The job is easy and they have a lot of patience to teach you how to do it. If you have bad spanish as me they talk really slow and help you improve with the language.
In my last days I got sick and they were very kind to me and offered to go with to the hospital and let me rest. I’m really happy about my experience in cuenca, couldn’t have chosen better place for my first volunteering.

A great experience! Green River hostel is cosy, relaxed, and welcoming , and all staff are friendly and helpful :)
The work is cleaning, which is quite physical job, but the hours were respected and the staff always help and work alongside the volunteers, so it was fine :)
The volunteer accomodation is excellent! A lovely self-contained flat in the attic. The only inconvenience was that I expected individual accomodation, but in reality shared with two other volunteers (first one and then the other), however it worked out well.
Overall an excellent first experience, and I recommend it!
