Our guesthouse is located just a 3 minute walk from Hiroshima JR station, where you can enjoy a homey, relaxing atmosphere. Not only just cozy to stay, it is also very convenient for our volunteers to explore the city with the best location to reach many places.
Our staff are basically Japanese and Taiwanese. Volunteers with us can expect a multi-language and friendly environment to work, live, and share with many friends.

El ambiente y los compañeros súper lisos, el anfitrión súper amable, paciente y ágata decido! Lo que no sentí de los otros anfitriones. La ciudad súper tranquila, tienes bicis y tiempo para conocer y trabajo en equipo lo disfrutas. Todo de diez! Las 2 semanas se pasaron volando si pudiera me hubiera quedado más tiempo! 🤍

Volunteering at Akicafe was amazing! I worked with lovely people and they were so nice to me. I can only speak English and they can speak Japanese and a little bit English. This was no problem at all. Hiroshima is a small city but really nice. The work is 3-4 hours of cleaning. In the beginning i had to get used to it but in no time its easy. Special thank to Ryoko she is so sweet and always tries to help you. Also her cooking is amazing!

Working at Aki was a great way to improve my Japanese and meet many new and interesting people during my summer holiday. The cleaning might be a little exhausting for some, but working at the reception is pretty enjoyable as you get to talk to many different people. The facilities are clean and pleasant, the host and other staff make you feel welcome and I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a local environment.

Working at Akicafe was truly an unforgettable experience. The work was hard at times but very fair. Doing general cleaning for about 3-4 hours a day can get a little tiring after a few days. Just like any other job, the people you meet during your time there is what makes it all worth it. If you have the chance to work here and with Ryoko; tell her she’s a sweet angel!

I had a great experience there! Hiroshima -thought is not a big city with many things to see- is a nice place with a nice vibe. The work at the hostel is easy . The staff is more than kind and the facilities are great. Special thanks to Rika and Kipe. ❤️
