We like to interact with people all over the world and find out, how life is going in other parts of the world. We can give an insight how life is going as a middleclass member in Switzerland.
We live in a very lovley and big flat, from where you can see the alps and it is very near to the beautiful Lake Konstanz. We'd like to offer our spare place to interested people in exchange for some household tasks.

we are a couple in our fifties and have together 5 grown up kids, they all have their own living places. I (Doris) work as a nurse and Mario works as a buisinessanalyst. There is also a cat living with us and she really is our diva. I made myself an experience as a volunteer in Denmark in January 2022. Now we are very curious about the experience as hosts.

I had a amazing experience at Home Sweet home!
I was warmly welcomed by Doris and Mario, and from the first day I felt like in a home away from home :)
The tasks are simple, and they are always willing to help! Maria and Doris helped me with the best tips to explore Switzerland, Germany and Austria! I explored a lot and also I leaned about the swiss culture !
I definitely recommend this experience 100%

My experience with Doris and Mario was amazing. They are great hosts who want to practice English and to know people around the globe, in exchange of keeping their house tidy and taking care of their cute cat Pige.
The experience of visiting Switzerland for the first time, and with them being the first people I met, will not be forgotten. I totally recommend this volunteer position if you want to immerse yourself locally in the Swiss-German side and would like company of incredible hosts.

My experience at Home Sweet Home couldn’t have been better. I was very well received from the first moment! Doris and Mário are excellent hosts! The house is beautiful and comfortable, the tasks were simple and everything went as planned. The time I worked allowed me to have a good time at the lake and get to know the region. Doris cooks wonderfully and I was able to try several traditional Swiss dishes. Mário was very kind and printed maps to help me make plans for my days off. And Pige, the diva cat was great company in my days. I really felt at home! I just have to thank you! :)

Doris and Mario provide an excellent opportunity for volunteers to get a real feel for Swiss living and culture. From the moment I arrived I felt welcome and comfortable in their home. Doris is an excellent cook and provided delicious, nutritious meals that adhered to my extensive and restrictive dietary requirements. Mario and Doris shared their knowledge and provided current and historical information about the local and extended area. Doris and Mario offer a very fair exchange that involves very manageable work and flexible hours. Thank you both, an experience to be forever cherished :)

Doris and Mario were fantastic hosts. This was my first Worldpackers experience and I’m so glad I applied here.

The tasks can be completed in a few hours. Doris is an amazing cook and you will be introduced to many aspects of Swiss culture and food.

I had plenty of free time and was able to take many day trips in Switzerland, as well as Austria and Germany. You can easily travel around using public transportation. Even in winter (Feb) I was able to hike on many mountain trails.

Their home is a welcoming and cozy place that allowed me to truly enjoy my stay near Lake Constance.
