Homestay with Salma's family
My father speaks french and arabic and my siblings speak french, arabic and english.
If you seek to learn or practise french or arabic, Morocco is right for you as those are its official languages!
My family has been immersed in cultural exchange all over the last 5 years.
As I am culturally active and have been traveling a lot lately, I have international friends all around the world and many of them came to visit me and stayed with my family on their visit.
We are used to host Couchsurfing guests and AIESEC exchange students.
Also, we have been a host family with the American Center for Language and Culture (CLC Morocco) for 5 american girls for both long periods (8 months and 5 months) and short periods (1 month) between September 2013 and January 2015.
My father grew up in Marrakech and knows the city perfectly!
He can show you its secret corners that only real locals know, give you a taste of life in this marvelous city, show you historical places and take you for a hike in the mountains that surround Marrakech or for a daytrip to another city, such as Essaouira the city of the wind, or others.
He's also very good at bargaining, so you can be sure to shop for reasonable prices and he can protect you from being fooled by vendors.
You can let us know the activities you are interested in and the program you want for your stay and we can find a way to make it work.
My father is very flexible and openminded, he insists on communicating and discussing any issues you might have. Just let him know and he will do his best to provide a solution. And don't be shy to ask him for help or advice, that's his favorite activity! :p
You will have a full accomodation: - Your own room
