Volunteers will have the opportunity to know the local culture and hang out with many international guests.
We are close to the seaside and there are some hiking routes around to go on foot. Many turist attractions and touristic places are closeby and reachable by bus/train in a short time.
We are opened newly and everything at the hostel is brand-new. We provide a very comfortable and friendly environment.
I had been volunteering for three years before opening my own hostel. I experienced how it is to be a volunteer. We are easy-going people enjoying to be among guests, to know new people and culture.

Hostel Hangout feels like home. The vibe is very calm, and the work too. Emre is a very communicative person and willing to help in whatever you need, he has a very specific way of doing things and the ideal is to do things exactly that way. Working hours are respected as well as what you receive, he buys food for the week and you’re free to prepare whatever you want. Bar is a very lovely city with a lot of things to do. I really liked the experience and I even decided to stay a month longer than I had planned.

Working for two and a half months at Hangout Hostel was a wonderful experience. There are 4 hours of work daily, taking care of the reception and housekeeping. Emre is very fair with the workload and offers everything a volunteer needs, in addition to knowing a lot about the region. Thank you so much for the experience and I hope to come back soon to visit you :)

Emre is an amazing host. He's really nice to the volunteers and to the guests. I see how much effort he puts in his hostel. He's always giving his best.
I've felt really welcome here, and I'm leaving with a heart full of gratitude for this experience. I really wish I could stay longer.

i had such a great time in hostel hangout!
emre is really nice, he has great recommendations of places to visit in montenegro, always encourage us of going out and provide us the food we ask for.
the work is easy, usually 2 hours of cleaning per day and the rest is reception. the hostel has a good environment, it's organized and feels like home.

Hangout is the perfect name to represents the vibe of the place. At first, I was going to stay 4 weeks, but the time here was so good that we ended up extending one more week. The information in the profile is exactly how the experience happens here. The owner has a traveling soul and experience as a volunteer, which makes all things very light and fair. The hostel is small, so clean (It's the cleanest hostel I've stayed), so 5 hours per day is enough to do all tasks. We have all meals, 2 days off per week and we can explore Bar and the region around. Thank you for all Emre <3
