The atmosphere here in the hostel is nice and easy. You will be treated with kindness and respect. We communicate very well and make the duties for you and for us clear, yet FUN :))
The hostel is small. All the staff are about 4-5 people depends on the season. We are a family running the hostel. We will treat you like a family member. Don't worry :)

This was my first worldpackers experience and I LOVED IT!!!! Faris, Nina and the other volunteers were super welcoming and we had a great time together. The tasks and the working times were well communicated and you get used to it after a few days. Hostel Mamas & Papas felt like home for me for the last month and I highly recommend to stay there. Barbecue and free beer helped as well ;)

If you were thinking of embarking on this adventure, stop and apply now because I assure you that you are going to have a great experience.
Faris is an incredible person, whatever you need, you will be able to count on him; he is super friendly, and he gives you the confidence so that you can tell him what you want and feel comfortable.
Tasks are distributed equally, with everyone's consent, and if you need to make any changes, it's all a matter of talking about it.
Being there is really like being at home. And everyone who comes is welcome.

I feel grateful for having chosen Hostel Mamas & Papas as my first volunteering experience, Faris is very kind, always willing to help you with whatever you need and make you feel comfortable and happy. Communication is clear, the workload is not heavy at all and you will have plenty of time to enjoy the city or go biking around the park nearby, Nina and the other volunteers were lovely also, I'm going to miss them all!

fii uma experiencia maravilhosa, o trabalho e bem dividido e ninguem fica sobrecarregado. Faris e exigente e gosta de um bom trabalho, e tambem amigo e gosta de nos agradar com um bom Barbecue e umas latinhas de cerveja. Me senti em casa e pude sentir o clima de uma vida local. O local fica numa,area residencial, mas nao e longe do centro e tem onibus e trem facilmente. Amei todos do hostel. Foi im voluntariado muito produtivo e agradavel . Obrigada Faris e Nina. Um beijo especial a minha roommate Kasia .
