We like to say that we don't sell just a bed, we sell an entire experience, and you will help us keep this tradition for our future guests. If you feel like having an amazing experience do not hesitate in applying for a vacancy. We are a chain so if you apply to us you might be able to be a volunteer in other countries as well.
The worldpakers will have a big room with a mezzanine, bathroom and a kitchen shared with the other volunteers. On each floor, we can accommodate four people. At the end of your stay you can travel to another Hostel One location and keep your volunteer experience.

FAMILY is the word that comes to mind when I think about the lived experience.
It was my first volunteering, and the truth I was a little scared about how it could be, but when I walked through the door, the good energy of the place and the people made my fear disappear.
I think I could not have chosen a better place for my first volunteering.
Not only because of the beautiful experiences lived, but because of the WONDERFUL PEOPLE who make Hostel One what it is.

I had such an amazing time at Hostel One, Mel is a great manager and all the staff are wonderful people. I made friends for life, learned important life lessons and had so much fun in Porto!! I love this place and would recommend to anyone looking for adventure, challenge and fun ❤️❤️

This was my first volunteering and I absolutely loved it. The tasks were fair and easy, so you had a lot of free time also. I felt immediately home there because everyone was really nice. Mel and Amilcar made me feel really comfortable and would help me if I had a problem with something. So If you’re looking for socializing, partying and a great city, I would 100% recommend this. I’m definitely coming back!! :)

i really enjoyed volunteering at hostel one. I met so amazing people and made so many get friendships. The work was fairly easy and a lot of fun. Melanie and amilcar were very easy to come to if i had a problem, scheduling conflicts, or just needed help. Would definitely recommend this volunteering!!

I had an amazing time in this hostel, great location, staff very welcoming! I had the opportunity to learn so much during my stay here, the tasks are diverse you do a little bit of everything. Would definitely recommend! The schedule was nicely organized by Mel so it was easy to plan your week in advance !
