Hostel Villa Angelina Old Town

Hostel Villa Angelina is a very special hostel due to staff and relations with our guests. Being a small hostel we can enjoy great friendly atmosphere where staff is guest's friend. Staff is in charge to give all the best tips for guests to enjoy Dubrovnik area! Our guests can have unique experience without any prior research. Besides great relations with guests we keep our hostel spotless so guests can feel like at home! Cleanliness is very important for our guests!

We already had few volunteers at the hostel. To become a volunteer here you have to be very friendly and nice person who has great communication skills, is willing to help in any process of running the hostel. The main task for volunteers is to explain guests about the hostel and activities to accompany the guest to their rooms (private rooms are 5 min walk from reception). Volunteers can have free accommodation, if they are willing to work more we can offer them 1 meal.

The contact with Matea was cero, i actually never met Matea in person or heard from her during all my stay.
People around the hostel were super nice and made my experience fun. The working hours were flexible and respected, tasks were simple, although i had agreed to some tasks beforehand and they changed me to activities without asking and when i was already there.
I felt like the host didn't care about me or how my experience was because she never contacted me. Also, the building where i was staying had the tap and toilet broken the whole time and nobody fixed it, even when asked to

It was such a great experience. Everyone working and volunteering was so nice and great to meet new people, very social job. A bit more of a heads up could be given on the schedule, to plan the days off. Overall great experience!

Thank you Hostel Angelina, Anna, Felipe and Milan :)) I had such a great experience getting to know Croatia and meeting new people here. The hours were very flexible and manageable and the hosts made it a very enjoyable experience. I loved my time here and would recommend it to anyone.

My time here has been pretty enjoyable overall. The host, the workers, and the volunteers have all been friendly and respectful. Whenever I didn't understand something, they'd help me with it. The job itself is straightforward and simple, but also fun. I enjoy helping people and getting to know about the world, and a hostel is a great way to do both. This hostel itself is cozy, it's tidy and organised, in a nice location, everything. Every day feels complete and I feel welcome here.
