Hostel Villa Zorana
Villa Zorana is a modern and stylish hostel is situated just 4 minutes away from the city center & the famous bar 'Carpe Diem.' There is a supermarket and a delicious restaurant located just 100m away. We are in a perfect location to reach some of the nicest beaches on the island.
We are welcoming volunteers for last 5 years. We only take 2 volunteers because we are a small hostel with 45 beds. If you come to our hostel you will have a great time and meet lots of great people.

My experience at Hostel Villa Zorana was a great one! The tasks/hours were exactly as agreed upon. I came at the end of the season, so my circumstances were more unique as I worked through the closing of the hostel. Bartul is blunt, but flexible through everything and always made sure I had something to do and a place to stay. When you are staying at the hostel, it is incredibly social and you meet new people every day. You get to collaborate with the full-time employees and work under the seasonal head cleaner (Dragana was awesome!!). You can rent scooters and sometimes get leftover food.

amazing! i was with bartul 2 summers and everything was perfect!
the staff is nice, his family and the hostel, lovely 🫶🏻
schedules, tasks and shifts are respected, even bartul is considered at the time of a request for a change of time or shift.
Without a doubt I would work with him again, and enjoy hvar! The island is a paradise, one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

It was amazing. One of the best trips of my life. I really liked Hvar and I’m glad I chose Villa Zorana to do the volunteer because I met so many nice people there and it’s a good atmosphere to work.

Increíble experiencia en Villa Zorana! El trabajo era sencillo, 3 horas al día limpiando o llevando a los huéspedes de fiesta. El hostel está súper céntrico y puedes explorar Hvar muy fácilmente. Todo el equipo fue encantador!

Unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience. As soon as I arrived, Bartul gave me vague instructions regarding the role I would perform or the days off. We ended up having a disagreement at the end of my volunteering because he told me to do something and forgot that he had said that, and started yelling at me for doing what he said, what made me leave earlier because I felt no longer welcomed there. Despite everything, I'm happy and grateful for the experience. I've made friends that I want to keep for life (guests and other workers) - and I truly wish Bartul and his hostel all the best.
