Because it's FUN!!! And you learn a wide variety of skills - gardening (permaculture), Bnb housekeeping, equipment maintenance & repairs ... and learning to live with other in a friendly community household setting. Ever dreamed of running your own Bnb one day? Well, this is a great place to learn. All our accommodations cater to 'romantics' - so we have fun making each place special welcoming for those traveling for their honeymoons, anniversaries, special celebrations etc. We love it when people who've honeymooned with us come back, sometimes years later, with their families. It feels like greeting old friends & family.

Please be aware, though, that in order to join us, we request 1. that you have medical insurance 2. that you are willing to do a three month placement (after a 2 week 'tryout' period to make sure we're both comfortable and happy with each other, of course).
(The WP site only allows a max of one month and can't seem to adapt to numerous hosts who prefer longer placements). Sorry!! But come join us! Lots to learn! Lots of fun to be had!

Maui has been our home for 30 years - I think you'll find us interesting as hosts. I, (Sharyn) used to be a speech therapist, radio announcer and theatre performer when I lived in Australia, where I was born. NOW I get to own and run a B&B AND do theatre & improv ... as well as write. (Want to try an improv class? Come with me on Thursday nights!) Fun! Jeff, my husband, used to be a dentist in a previous lifetime - with special skills in treating by hypnosis for dental phobic patients ... AND he's a great personal growth counselor! Volunteers? "how can you expect to be treated?" With respect and humor, I would hope!!!
