Ingra House Hotel

It's a uniquely Alaskan place; private rooms with shared restrooms near the heart of downtown Anchorage. It's very laid-back and chill most of the time. All staff including the general manager reside on-site so staff takes pride in their work and ability to help travelers get insight into the Last Frontier.

I'm a two-branch military veteran with 40+ years in the workplace, 6 at this hotel, and I'm a 33-year resident of the state. I run a tight ship but staff always knows what's expected of them so there's no need to micro-manage. We have a very relaxed way of doing business. Super chill, fun, and all of us get along great. Can hardly call it work.
