Lagan Backpackers

We operate a fantastic Hostel in a Fantastic Location in Belfast. We are a backpacker only hostel and always welcome workaways. We have a tour desk offering the best that both Belfast and Northern Ireland have to see including City Sightseeing, Giants causeway etc. We offer a friendly atmosphere and breakfast with the bed.

We ask for 24hrs per week with help running the hostel, making beds, cleaning, cooking, checking in guests explaining the area etc. In exchange you will get to live life for a while in buzzing Belfast with like minded people, with your accommodation in a shared dorm, and access to food budget.

O local onde os voluntários dormem é simplesmente inabitável, no dia que cheguei já se notava que não comporta 8 pessoas e algumas voluntárias se foram porque também havia uma infestação de insetos que picavam, nunca tive uma experiência tão inapropriada como essa, não recomendo até que tomem providências para respeitar a saúde dos voluntários e condições básicas , queria parabenizar os voluntários que ainda estão no hostel fazendo o possível para atender os clientes, mesmo sob essas condições, saindo do hostel notei que o proprietário começou a dedetizar, espero que melhore.

Mi experiencia en Lagan Backpackers fue muy buena, vive ahí durante 1 mes y conocí a personas geniales y gané miles de anécdotas. Mis jefes Laura y Jared me trataron siempre con mucho respeto y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Las instalaciones del Hostel son un aspecto a mejorar, sobre todo el cuarto de voluntarios y los baños. Fue Una gran experiencia que recomendó ampliamente.

My stay at Lagan backpackers was definitely an experience I won’t forget. The people I met there were great and helpful including the managers. However the bathroom facilities are quit dirty and not what was expected. We also had a bed bug issue in many rooms at the hostel including the volunteers room. We couldn’t switch rooms so we just had to live with the bites. Many times I did not feel safe going out at night and had to stay in the hostel. Which wasn’t great because the guests aren’t the best.

I had a great time at the Lagan Backpackers. I lived with people from Brazil, it was great getting to learn a new language. I will never forget my experience at this hostel. Laura and Jared were great hosts. Thank you for everything.
