LivinGood Farm
How much do you know about medjool dates?
Come help us in our organic farm and learn everything about what’s considered a super fruit.
We are Ran and Eyal and together we run the LivinGood Farm. Our date plantation is in the beautiful Jordan Valley, surrounded by the mountains. We have been working with the help of volunteers for 3 years already and it has been so joyfull, that people always come back. Everybody is welcome to experiencehere, it doesn’t matter how old you are or if you don’t speak hebrew/english. Keyword is “get you hands dirty” ;)
Send us a !!!SHORT!!! message introducing yourself and telling us how long you intend to stay. You will receive an small e-book with all the information about the house, the work, the sightseeing, such as all outdoor possibilities you can do in your free time.
Check also our facebook and instagram for more pictures.
We pick you up with the car at the volunteer’s house from Mondays to Fridays and drive to the plantation. We start the work, have a break for breakfast together and then we continue. Somedays will be more challenging, but other days will be very easy (such as packaging the dates or cleaning the sprinklers). After the work you have free time. Along with the dates we are also growing grapes and olives, so prepare yourself to know everything about olive oil very soon.
Main tasks are everything that involves growing trees and plants in organic way. We also have some design and social media projects, so if you have experience with that, let us know and we can develop something nice.
