Marcela was very kind and picked me up at the airport when I arrived and was willing to take me even though I had decided to leave before the agreed time. She treated me very well and explained the rules patiently. This was my first worldpacker experience and unfortunately, it was very different from what I had imagined, as I didn't feel comfortable. The different culture, and not having a routine of activities to do made me a little anxious and, as the family has a lot of rules, I didn't feel free in the environment and I was afraid of doing something and having my attention constantly drawn

Sandra es una persona muy cálida, tiene muy buena voluntad y disposición. Me llevó a parques, me preparó muchas cosas y me dio un espacio muy cómodo en la casa. Es importante que antes de llegar aquí a este voluntariado. Preguntar algunas cosas sobre las comidas, que alimentos se pueden cocinar y qué cosas específicamente deberíamos poner más atención como voluntariados. Esta experiencia la recomiendo mucho para todos los que quieran vivir una experiencia cultural totalmente distinta.

I had the best experience ever! Marcela and Job are incredible and welcoming people. I felt very comfortable in their house. It was a true cultural immersion.
All activities went as agreed. And the schedule of activities is very flexible, so you can enjoy the city, which has many cool places to visit. An amazing experience I highly recommend!

Marcela and Job are wonderful people and I feel very grateful to have had the opportunity to be a Worldpacker for them. Their home is organized, safe and clean. They made me feel like part of the family. Marcela has a big heart and is someone I always want to be in touch with. I learned many things from her, like cleaning and organizing a house and what I liked the most was the recycling. Other thing that was very important is that she is very flexible about the schedule of the activities, that was great! Their pet's are calm, silent and very cute. I highly recommend them as hosts.
