My Hawaii Hostel

We are an amazing hostel in an amazing location. Near the heart of Kailua Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, near beaches, snorkeling, and other activities. And we have amazing guests stay with us. We have high standards and treat our guests like family.

We treat our staff like family. We all work together to get the job done so we have time to have fun! It is a flexible work environment and we have pretty clearly laid out job descriptions and expectations.

I stayed in this hostel for 2 months and it was the best time of my life! The owners are very nice, my staff team was perfect and the location is also not bad! You can watch sunset just across the street, beaches are not far away and you can always do something. Everyday is different and it got never boring! I met a lot of very nice people here and I would do it everytime again!!!!!

My Hawaii hostel was an amazing experience!! Jenaya is so nice and caring, she’s awesome to be around and a very attentive boss, she helps out with any problems you could have and is very understanding. She always made the work environment fun and as easy going as work can be! I had the best experience working at my Hawaii hostel, and I recommend to anyone looking to meet lots of people and explore the island! It feels like a second home to me now❤️

I had the best 7 weeks at My Hawaii! Jenaya is a fabulous host, she made me feel very welcome and is always contactable if needed. She also made the BEST cheeseburgers for my leaving party 😍 My co-workers were also amazing - they felt like family and I’ve made some friends for life! The Hostel is clean and I never felt unsafe at any point. The work is manageable, the night shift in particular can be fairly chilled, depending on the number of check ins. I would recommend this experience to anyone! I had an incredible time and I wasn’t ready to leave Hawaii! I’ll be back for sure! 🤙🏼🌅🌺

I had a great time at My Hawaii Hostel, its a beautiful place! Great location! The owners are amazing women ! The other staff were also amazing girls! Just a wonderful place! Very clean, good schedule, great opportunity and good community! Always very thankful with this place! ❤️🌺🫶🏽

My time at My Hawaii Hostel was more than anything I could have asked for. The owner, Jenaya, is incredibly understanding, personable, and fun to be around. A very inspiring woman. The work trade is very fair and the overall energy of the hostel is addicting. This is a great place to come for solo travel as it is safe and accepting. Thank you for everything, My Hawaii. 🤍
