In my own personal experience I had a great time. My working hours were fair and free time respected I got to do different stuff during my stay related with farming, been around the animals and some cleaning related tasks as well. I was lucky to have a great volunteer team as well which made experience nicer.
Signal is pretty bad, but that could be a good thing if you are looking forward to disconnect. The house is basic and I’m sure it can have some improvements. Town it’s pretty far walking to get your groceries. However Leo gave us a ride a couple of times, you just have to tell him befor

There were parts of this experience that were absolutely amazing: the horses, the gaucho Martín, the other volunteers and the landscape of farm life. HOWEVER the host made all of us EXTREMELY uncomfortable! We witnessed the host attempting to seduce the single woman that arrived on the farm and even heard that he fully asked one of them to have sex. That being said, he is extremely enthusiastic about the farm and horses and polo, and I won’t lie, we learned a lot! But, some of the tasks he has the women do (only women) aren’t included in the job description (like cleaning his house).

El voluntariado tiene pros y contras, los pros mayores son los caballos, la conexión con otros voluntarios y Martín.
Por otra parte Leo no es un buen anfitrión y no se cumple con lo que dice en el voluntariado, en el proyecto no dice nada de limpieza de casas, y la mayoría de días yo lo único que estuve haciendo era limpiar su casa por que ese era “el trabajo de las mujeres” los comentarios de leo son incómodos e inapropiados , chicas pongan sus límites. ¿Donde estuvo el trabajo social? Tendiendo la cama de una persona? Lavando platos? Un chiste lo que dice que ofrece en la app.

Austria
The farm and the horses are awesome. You can ride the horses everyday (depending on how good you are, you can go alone or guarded).
Getting to the farm is very difficult, especially when you use public transportation because you will have to walk around 50 min. from the station to the farm.
The working hours are quite chill and you can design your free time as you want, but keep in mind that you are in the middle of nowhere. There is nearly no signal and no Wi-Fi on the farm.
If you want to spend a lot of time with horses and are okay with being disconnected, this will be a great stay.
