Easy going place, allways with 4-6 volonters from all over the world. You will learn how to make apple and cheese strudl, learn about Croatians history and nice place to go. Evry summer are plenty live music and concerts in the center. Lokal people in Zagreb are very friendly and they like to make afriends with travelers.
I am an architect and bussines women, 66 years old . I design, build and run this hostel from 2001. years. Travel a lot around the world and I like all people if they are normal, honest and hardworkers. We need volunteers only 3 months per year: July, August and September

Had a lovely time at Ravnice! Vera and the staff was lovely, the hostel and garden super cozy and tasks were fun and reasonable. I had my own room and a lot of free time to discover Zagreb with other volunteers. Recommend to everyone!! <333

I had a really nice experience in Ravnice. Vera received me when I needed to, and always treated me very well. She's kind, a great cook and a really strong woman.
The hostel feels like home. You have your privacy, and, to be honest, I loved to spend time there with others volunteers and guests. Remember: you're going to work, so we need to do it! :) It's nice be at reception, talk with guests and help. I really recommend this experience.

My stay in Ravnice was lovely!
The work was super chill, and shifts were easy as we had many volunteers working in the hostel. Also Vera, the owner, is a really sweet person, and was looking after us all the time. We had some great chats over dinner and drinks, and she has some great stories to tell :)

La experiencia en el hostal fue grandiosa, las tareas a realizar fueron relativamente fáciles, los compañeros fueron muy colaborativos, fuimos un gran equipo junto a Vera, una gran persona, muy amable, muy respetuosa, muy comprensiva, me brindo una gran acogida en el Hostal, sin duda alguna no pude tener mejor experiencia en Croacia que aquí! Gracias Vera, eres grandiosa!!!
