Red Crow Cafe

We are located in the central interior of BC have fun learning real Canadian culture hanging out in a small town helping in the garden and greenhouse to keep place clean , learn how to make the best pizzas ever !

We have a small house on the lake to stay in with a greenhouse and pizza cafe walking distance away on the highway , you get good food and lots of things to do if you like hiking biking swimming or skiing in the winter

My time working at red crow was fantastic and Rick was also a fantastic host. Training is provided for the necessary tasks and making the pizzas is good fun. I truly felt welcomed by all the locals and I was definitely kept entertained on my time off. The month at the red crow flew by and I was sad for it to end :(

Rick and all his friends in Lac La Hache are the kindest people ever! I felt very welcomed :-) the day to day tasks are pretty easy going. Had great fun going to bingo & meat draw (new experiences for me!) you’ll have a magic time at the red crow and make some friends for life.

It was really nice learning how to make pizza and getting to know the locals at the cafe! There were not too many costumers so you had time for online working and go hiking/ running around the lake. Just go out and explore on your own because there are many nice trails and wildlife to see just in walking distance. Special thank you to Heather, Marie and Randy and Larry :)

Loved my experience at the café! Rick is so sweet and made me feel at home from the first day. The tasks are easy to do in my opinion and I loved learning how to make pizza and quesadillas. The latter is now part of my diet. I also liked how the restaurant wasn't busy 24/7, allowing me to have plenty of time to focus on my work as well. I also loved doing bingo (my first Canadian bingo experience btw) with Heather and wished we had gone more often!
