We are located in the Quinta Camacho neighborhood of Bogota, a cultural hub known for its peaceful and safe atmosphere. The area is well known for its 20th-century English architecture, alternative-style bars, restaurants, and cafes that give it a unique atmosphere.
The team comprises young and energetic people and will be ready to welcome you. Also, you´ll share a specific room just for volunteers and would be able to join us in all our activities and tours around the city.

O hostel tem espaços comuns bastante agradáveis, apesar da habitação ser um pouco apertada. O trabalho na recepção era um tanto cansativo pela quantidade de horas e porque é importante que o voluntário esteja sempre atento a segurança do hostel. Os benefícios dados não são tantos: lavanderia uma vez na semana e o café da manhã somente nos dias em que se faz turno de madrugada. Agradeço àquelas pessoas que conheci e que me acolheram tão bem.

Republica Hostal Bogota is a really cute and small hostel, which made it easy to get to know all the guests. I was able to speak Spanish 80% of the time, so it was amazing practice for my Spanish. There were 2 other volunteers with me in January and they were amazing people. The paid staff that work here are also wonderful people and I became good friends with all of them. The only thing I would clarify is that besides working the bar, you will also be working reception and probably night shift. Overall amazing experience. Te extrañaré Republica Hostal <3

It is a cozy hostel to volunteer, easy tasks and everything you need is there! Special thanks for Diego, he was amazing and helped me in everything. They can improve teamwork and avoid uncomfortable situations! Thanks for this experience!
